The ISPM 15 standard (International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures) of the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organisation) defines the rules for the sterilisation of wood packaging used in the international trade of goods.
SECAL has designed and developed its own exclusive technologies that comply with this standard and allow the approval of chambers in order to perform the (sterilisation) function via Heat treatment (HT) and to obtain the authorisation to apply the IPPC mark (International Plant Protection Convention) / FAO on the material treated.
